Countdown Night

Today is December thirtieth , and just after under forty eight hour we will enter the 2008 year . I think i will go to Taipei with my senior high school friends to celebrate this special moment . Why we go to celebrate countdown night , and what the meaning for this action ? I don't know how other people think about this , but i think that celebrating countdown night is to encourage ourselves for live seriously all the 07 year , and also encourage ourselves to do more better at 08 year . Bye the way , i think my senior high school friends company me most of this 07 year , so i wanted to celebrate this year , and countdown this last year whith them . I major in life science .
